The WNFLB communicates with fans, advertises events and reports about female athletes through social media. Instagram, Twitter and Facebook enable the league to communicate with many fans. Fans can enjoy highlights from each game, interviews with players and behind-the-scenes clips thanks to the WNFLB sharing them on social media. It creates support for women’s football and motivates others to watch the league. Moreover, WNFLB uses social media to support women’s sports and help promote equal opportunities for athletes which is key to their strategy.
