TOPIC: Sequins or embroidery for a classy party saree?

I'm searching for a fashionable Party Saree and would appreciate some advice. What materials can I use which will be most comfortable during prolonged functions and yet be quite fashionable? Will sequins be a superior material over embroidery for a classy party impression? Do share your experience if you've bought some party sarees recently, and some tips from you will also aid me in selecting the best saree for the party.
